When it comes to our emotions, we can spend a lot of time ruminating, which leads us into a spiral of unproductive “spinning” over worries, conflicts and thoughts that distress us. On the other hand, we often think that in “venting” or ranting, we are effectively dealing with our emotions.
In this video, I want to talk about how we are often ruminating over our emotions or venting our emotions, but we often never get to actually PROCESSING our emotions. I want to share with you the difference and walk through what effective emotional processing can look like.
