What to Do When You Are TRIGGERED

Triggering is a term that is used often in mental health, to the point that it has even become a cultural expression that many use. What does it mean to become triggered and what can we do to work through moments in our life when our emotions get bombarded in this way?

When we are triggered, we are often talking about a strong, often intense, emotional reaction to something that is said or done or something that we experience. It can initiate an unheaval of emotions that are very challenging to work through. We can all find ourselves responding to a trigger in unfruitful ways, so in this broadcast, I want to share some very important insights about how to deal with triggers in a healthy and fruitful way that helps to develop our healing, freedom and long term maturity.
