S07 Ep04: Getting to the Heart of Our Worry Issues

Worry has become so commonplace in our culture, it’s like we assume it is just a part of life. People worry so much that if they are not worried about something, they begin to think something is wrong with them. We’ve been trained to worry about everything.

Where does worry hit you the most? Is it your finances? Your children? Your work demands? Does the news crank up worry in your heart?

Worry is a focus on the future with a fear-based perspective. It robs of us living and peace and prevents us from being present in the moment. It is a habit that will never leave unless we decide to face it head on and cultivate a whole new walk with God.

But in order to do that, we need to get to the “why” of our worries and allow God to heal the places of our heart that become vulnerable to worry filled patterns.

In this episode, we want to get to why we actually worry and dive into what can happen when we let go of our worry patterns and learn to live in the present.

Video Broadcast:

In this episode, we talk about:

  • We fall into patterns of worry.
  • How to confront our worries and invite God into those places of our hearts.
  • Matthew 6 and Jesus instructions on how to look at your worries through His eyes.
