S03 Ep08: Gratitude

In a culture that easily drowns in negativity, you need tools that will help you rise above it all by cultivating a lifestyle of gratitude and thanksgiving. It is interesting that the habit of gratitude is known by everyone, yet underutilized in practice. We overlook the benefits and search for other areas to find greater contentment and victory.

Yet the jewels of life are found in a heart that cultivates thanksgiving and gratitude on a regular basis. Being able to “give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV) is a spiritual muscle that needs to be exercised and developed on a regular basis.

Developing Your Gratitude Muscles

Gratitude is something that we know we need to do, but we just don’t do it. Why is that?

One big reason is that Christians often skip over foundational truths and precepts. We see the practice and habit of gratitude as “baby steps,” when in fact, cultivating a thankful heart is a great power in any circumstance.

For most people who need breakthrough in their life; the call is not to get into deep, complex subjects. It is often the time to return to the fundamentals; the foundational mindsets that set everything else into motion.

That is what thanksgiving does. It sets the template for how we should see our life and circumstances. It positions us to overcome like nothing else.

In this episode, we want to talk about the power of gratitude and how we can practice it in a way that we experience the transformational power of it.

A grateful heart can never be defeated!
