Anxiety and the Healing Journey (Part 1)

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health issue, impacting 40 million+ adults, in the United States alone. And that doesn’t count the masses of those who are suffering in silence.

It is my firm conviction that believers ought to be equipped in what it means to live mentally and emotionally healthy. This includes being able to address anxiety disorders with great effectiveness. It is my passion to equip people with insights and support that will empower them to experience healing and freedom in this area.

Anxiety disorders hit close to home for me, as my journey has brought me face to face with the battleground. It led me to passionately find answers so I could fight the battle and learn to experience the healing love, grace and peace of God. Odds are you struggle with these battles or you know someone who does. I think it’s time for us to get equipped so we can experience healing and encourage others from what we have learned.

In this multi-part series, I will be talking about insights and applications in addressing anxiety disorders, which cover:

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder
  • Panic Attacks & Panic Disorder
  • Phobias
  • Social Phobia

For years I struggled with anxiety, OCD and panic attacks that eventually led me to chronic depression and all loss of hope. For years, I thought I would never be able to get free and live in peace. But by the grace of God and me being open to people God put into my life, I learned the spiritual battle behind anxiety disorders and how to get myself free.

In this series, you will get the insights I have learned while helping myself get free and many of the people I have personally helped to get free from these areas of bondage. You will get all my energy, passion and excitement to see you free. You will gain knowledge regarding the root issues that drive anxiety disorders. You will see how they work from a spirit, soul and body perspective. Key biblical insights will be given as well as psychological and medical observations. This teaching also has very practical application that can be used in walking free and overcoming these disorders, while also being equipped to help others who are struggling.
