To empower your thoughts, you need to cultivate a “grid” for the kind of thoughts you will focus on and welcome in your life. Most people are aware of all the negative and disempowering thoughts they have, but don’t know how to cultivate powerful ones.
In this video, I want to Philippians 4:8 as a gauge for developing an overcoming thought life.
What are the thoughts we should focus our attention on? What do these thoughts even mean? What does it look like to practice thinking on these things?
Philippians 4:8-9 (NKJV) 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
