As someone who has worked in the trenches for decades on heart healing, mind renewal and emotional work, I want to give you some inside perspectives on some common trauma approaches in what is called inner healing. I have seen some good things, but I have also seen the goofy, the dangerous and the messy aspects that come about with inner healing work. So I will do my best to be gracious, but I also want to speak honestly to concerns I have.
I will address many avenues of Christian ministry that are seeking to help people heal through their traumatic past. I will review inner healing approaches like Theophostic, Sozo, Immanuel Method, deliverance and even talk about the influence of prophetic ministry. It is my goal to the be respectful and reasonable and simply share my experience and perspectives I have gathered along the way.
