In this Wednesday Live Q&A, I talk through struggles around unbelief, anxiety, and salvation, including questions like, “If my anxiety comes from unbelief, am I in constant sin?” as well as, “How do I repent of sins that feel impossible to fix right away?” I also address questions about feeling like you’re losing your mind: “Am I psychotic or just overwhelmed?”, “Why do intrusive thoughts make reality feel unreal?”
There are questions about family and the need to be understood: a 24‑year‑old living with their parents wrestling with, “Should I tell my parents everything so they finally ‘get’ me?”, “Is it hiding or wrong not to share all my inner struggles?”, and “How do I handle the ‘no one really knows me’ wound?”
I take a deeper dive into exploring what it means to be “in the Spirit” and walk in the Spirit. I take on workplace burnout questions from someone asking, “What does a healthy Christian response to burnout look like?” and “Is God disappointed with me because I’m irritable and exhausted at work?”
For those wired with perfectionism, we look at fears around writing: “How do I write without being paralyzed by the need to be perfect?”, “What if my writing isn’t biblically accurate?”, and “What if my heart slips into pride?” ‘
There are also very honest questions about intrusive thoughts at 2–3 AM: “Why are my thoughts worst in the middle of the night?”, “Is this spiritual attack or something else?”, and “How do I respond so I can actually get back to sleep?”
I also tackle masculinity and God’s love: “If I really live in God’s love, will I become soft or less masculine?” and “How do I navigate all the hyper‑masculine messages as a Christian man?”
Along the way, I share a brief health update about recent heat exhaustion and what it’s teaching me about listening to my body and limits.
