🔴 Sovereignty of God | Road Rage and Struggles with Anger | The Mind vs the Brain

In this live, I start by diving into the big topic of God’s sovereignty—what it actually means, how it’s commonly taught, and how it can be misapplied in ways that fuel fear, confusion, OCD, and perfectionism. I talk about the difference between God being in control and God being controlling, and how our attempts to perfectly “figure God out” (especially around free will, predestination, tragedy, and “God’s plan”) often leave us more tormented, not more free.

I also more into struggles with anger, with a big focus on road rage. I share honest stories from my own journey: moments where I reacted strongly in the car, confronted someone in a condo board meeting, and had to face how quickly disrespect can light a fire in the heart. I talk about how many of us with perfectionism and OCD not only get angry, but then get angry at ourselves for being angry, which only fuels more shame and pressure. In this live, I get to the heart of what drives this kind of anger and how we can experience healing.

I also touch on enmeshed family dynamics, leaving home, and building your own identity apart from the family system, as well as the difference between renewing the mind and merely trying to “fix the brain” through information or neuroscience alone.
