In this midweek live, I begin by addressing OCD, scrupulosity, and the tormenting fear of being a “reprobate,” unpacking what the Bible actually says about a debased mind versus what an anxious, obsessive filter tells you about yourself. I talk about salvation OCD, the unpardonable sin, intrusive thoughts, and how perfectionism, performance-driven Christianity. From there, I share perspectives on demons, deliverance, intrusive thoughts, and why so many Christians misinterpret spiritual warfare when what they really need is discipleship and healing in how they relate to God, themselves, and others.
I also respond to questions about turning to food for comfort, feeling emotionally numb or “dry” when reading the Bible, wrestling with complex trauma, legalism, and even using tools like AI in a way that honors God. On the relationship and life-direction side, I tackle topics like relationship OCD (ROCD), fear of marriage and “roommate syndrome,” breakups, emotional immaturity, career confusion, following your passion versus following opportunities, parental wounds, “God told me” language around big life decisions, and navigating work dilemmas (like real estate and serving people whose lifestyles don’t match your convictions).
