In this live broadcast I dive into a wide range of honest, real–life struggles that many believers face but don’t often talk about openly. I start by addressing what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and angry at the evil in the world—from injustice, cultural confusion and workplace hostility toward Christian values, to the heartache of working with vulnerable kids on the autism spectrum in spiritually dark environments. I also spend a good portion of time exploring what healthy prophecy looks like today, how to think about “hearing from God” without falling into pressure, grandiosity, or confusion, and how Scripture itself carries a prophetic impact in our daily walk.
From there, I get into a series of deep–dive Q&A topics: obsessive struggles around being “approved” by God, confusion over the scapegoat and atonement in Leviticus 16, ongoing battles with OCD, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, maladaptive daydreaming, and religious scrupulosity, crippling anxiety, panic attacks, and fatigue, trust issues and trauma, and the unique challenges of relationship OCD (ROCD) from both sides of the relationship.
Throughout the broadcast, I keep circling back to the same themes—learning to navigate emotions like anger and fear, breaking out of toxic religious pressure, understanding Scripture in context, and discovering how to actually live in God’s grace, love, and peace in the middle of real–world battles. If you wrestle with any of these areas, this session will give you language for what you’re going through and invite you to see your journey as a process, not a verdict.
