Two Kingdoms at War Within Us
The war does not wage over which kingdom is stronger, because God has always been the Supreme and there is none other. The battle is over whether you and I will choose to serve and live out the ways of God or give into the tactics of satan. Satan is not a worthy opponent to God, for God does not have equals, but the devil’s army is certainly a major threat to ignorant people that are not aware of his devices or how to get free from them.
Satan’s strategy involves counterfeiting and undermining the work of God everywhere on the planet. As shown throughout this book, he primarily does this through thought with the goal of manifesting sin. The body of sin, is lead by satan and his army of principalities, powers and evil spirits. The primary goal: to put the nature of sin into our life so that it becomes a part of us, thus manifesting sin’s identity (not God’s) in the world.
God Builds Up – the Enemy Destroys
When God’s way of thinking is made manifest, it heals, unifies, builds and makes whole. Wherever God shows up, His mindset is released to change people and breathe life into them. When sin is manifest in the world, it releases destruction, division and disease. Without sin, these negative effects would not exist in our world. The more that sin’s mindset is established, the more you will see the opposite of life being manifest. Yet when God’s ways are shown in the earth through human beings like you and I, there is a dynamic flood of life that will touch our land. That is exciting!
This is why it is so important that transformation take place in our lives. Each of our breakthroughs over the power of sin has an effect on our own health and wholeness, yet even bigger, it has an effect on our generations, our family line and our culture overall. It starts one by one; where each of us experiences personal breakthrough.
Can you begin to see where the battles lies in your own life?
