In today’s episode entitled, “Did God Just Say Something?” I am going to uncover some various ways that God can speak to us. I also address in our Q&A segment a question, where I address drivenness and rest in a question, “What is the difference between drivenness and passion?”

Feature Presentation: Did God Just Say Something?

7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“ Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, ‘ They always go astray in their heart,
And they have not known My ways. ’
11 So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest.’”
Hebrews 3:7-11 (NKJV)

Hearing God’s voice:

1. Keeps our hearts soft.

2. Keeps us from rebellion.

3. Keeps us from going astray.

4. Keeps us in the way we need to go.

5. Keeps us in REST.

How Does God Speak:

1. Anyway that He wants to!

2. Through the Word of God (Scriptures)

3. In our seeking.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 NKJV

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13 NKJV

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
Proverbs 25:2 NKJV

4. Dreams and Visions

‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
Acts 2:17 NKJV

5. Within Your Own Inner Dialogue

6. Audibly

7. Healthy Desire

Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 37:4 NKJV

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
“This is the way, walk in it,”
Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left.
Isaiah 30:21 NKJV
